ccorc3 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Hey guys. Just a quick question this time. I'm sure many of us have Pi Sigma Alpha (Political Science Honors Society) on our resumes if we're from the United States and majored in political science. I'm just wondering if there is any sort of prestige attached to having it; I couldn't get a straight answer from my advisors where I obtained my B.A. and I feel as if this is a frivolous question to ask admissions departments. Thanks again.
Hina Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Great question. I'd be interested to find out the answer to that as well.
WinterSolstice Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The only tangible benefit (apart from prestige, I guess) that I've noted is that it can give a minor bump in terms of qualification standards for government positions.
JohnJ88 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 I'd list it. No reason not to. It can only help.
