AmandaLeigh Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 My LOR writer is now working for a think tank as a senior fellow, but I met her when she was a lecturer at my Univeristy. Should I user her current title, or the title she had when I knew her? Many of the applications require me to list a title. Thanks!
hypervodka Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 List her current title. Many applications will also ask you to list that person's relationship to you, and that's when I'd mention that she was your instructor (it would also be fairly obvious in her LOR, and a lot of the LOR forms that I've seen also ask for the letter-writer to make a quick note of how long they've known the person they're writing about and in what capacity).
TakeruK Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I'd also second listing the recommender's current information (title, institution, etc.)!
