user834 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I applied to the five different grad programs at UT Austin with the hopes of increasing my odds and choices if I don't get my first pick. I finished the application and got professors to submit letters of recommendation for all five programs. The Computer Science department emailed me and said that I have to do a separate application through a different computer system. I don't mind except I don't want to have to bug professors to do this again. This seems silly. The references were already submitted for this program. Secondly, when I email the admissions coordinator I get an out of office auto reply. The deadline is coming up... Should I just bug my professors to resubmit? I hate to do that, it seems completely unnecessary, but I don't see what other choice I have.
eragon Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Better try calling them directly about the issue. It might help.
