Nightgaunts Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I was wondering if anyone has checked out University of Iowa's MPH in Quantitative Methods program. I'm considering the program, since i don't have the background needed to apply for MS biostatistics programs, so this seemed like a nice alternative. It seems like I'd be up against MS biostat graduates when looking for a job. Any idea how this type of degree (compared to an MS in biostats) is viewed? Any input is surely helpful!
lighterllf Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 Hello, Nightgaunts I applied the program you said two years ago, when they changed the name of the program to Quantitative Methods. With that being said, the program was the original biostat program. If I remember correctly, secretary used to say there was no much changing in terms of curriculum. Anyway, that is what I remembered, and hopefully it will be helpful.
