OT/SLP Hopeful Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Hi guys, Good luck to all those applying to a grad program this year! I'm currently writing up my personal statement for McGill's Speech Language Pathology program. They've got three questions, with a maximum character limit of 2000 each. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether this includes spaces or not? I've asked the admins at McGill, but they generally take a few weeks to respond - I was hoping to get a quicker answer here. : ) Thanks in advance!
eeee1923 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 I would think that spaces are not included in that character limit.
Victoris Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 From my understanding, if you are pasting your statement in an online text box then spaces are included within the character count. If you are uploading a Word document, spaces are not included in the count.
OT/SLP Hopeful Posted December 25, 2014 Author Posted December 25, 2014 Thanks for the responses guys, and Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! Victoris: Unfortunately, to make things more ambiguous, when I submitted via online text box to McMaster/Queen's through ORPAS, spaces weren't included.
Victoris Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Was your count at or close to the requirement? If not, I hope you was able to get your application in on time. Thanks for the update.
