Personal Statement - Character Limit

Hi guys,

 

Good luck to all those applying to a grad program this year!

 

I'm currently writing up my personal statement for McGill's Speech Language Pathology program. They've got three questions, with a maximum character limit of 2000 each. I was just wondering if anyone knew whether this includes spaces or not? I've asked the admins at McGill, but they generally take a few weeks to respond - I was hoping to get a quicker answer here. : )

I would think that spaces are not included in that character limit.

From my understanding, if you are pasting your statement in an online text box then spaces are included within the character count.  If you are uploading a Word document, spaces are not included in the count.

Victoris: Unfortunately, to make things more ambiguous, when I submitted via online text box to McMaster/Queen's through ORPAS, spaces weren't included.
