EvanK Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Hello. My goal is to obtain a CFA charter, and I was originally thinking about obtaining a Master of Financial Economics degree first. However, I recently researched the CFA requirements and I am starting to think that it may be a better investment of my time if I simply pursue a CFA charter. My undergrad major is Economics. Is getting an MFE prior to CFA worth it? Or should I go straight for the CFA charter? Any insight would be appreciated.
