anna_M Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Honestly, I think that both your TOEFL and your GRE scores (verbal and writing) are too low to be admitted. Many schools have a cut off, and even if they don't I think most committee members would consider theses scores a red flag. I see that your TOEFL writing score is actually acceptable (for TOEFL, less competitive schools the cut off is usually 25 for each section). Is there any change you could retake TOEFL and GRE? I think that it is extremely unlike that any school would admit you. I wouldn't spent the money on applications. Why do you want a PhD? I know, being an international student myself, that the education system can be very different. Would it be an idea to apply to master programs? There are a few master programs that fund their students. This way, you would have time to improve your English and you would be able to transfer some credits to a future PhD program.
guagua Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 可以重新考一下GRE和托福,我觉得GRE325托福100以上基本能保证第一轮过初筛。申请商学院考个GMAT也可以~ Kleene 1
