Hosanjungdae Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Hello! I graduated last May with Economics and Statistics. My GPA is 3.5, and I am very interested in applying to Ph. D. Stats. However, I am lacking math classes, and I am planning to take some online courses to develop my math background. I have graduated from Carnegie Mellon, and do you think taking online courses from other lesser universities would hurt? (Like state schools). Currently I've taken Calculus Multivariate Linear Algebra only 3 math courses. I am planning to take proof/real analysis/topology/diff eq/discrete math courses. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
