smbtuckma Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Is anyone aware if on-site interview invitations have been sent out? Someone mentioned the campus interview would happen late January, but I haven't heard anything since I skyped with my potential POI back in December.

juansalso Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I emailed the graduate director and she said she believed we would hear back from the department in late February. Keep in mind I never interviewed (phone or skype) so this might refer to an official rejection.

I just e-mailed the department too, and got this sort of vague reply: "As you can imagine, we have many applications to review and, if you are invited to visit our department, we will contact you. Our decisions will be made by March." Not sure if this means there's an official interview or if professors schedule their own interviews (Skype and/or campus), but doesn't it sound like they aren't finished reviewing?

So if we haven't heard anything at this point, I would assume it is most likely a no. Most likely, not certainly.

I'll wait a bit longer before I give up.
