Hi folks,

 

Wish you all the best on the current app season--this is cross-posted from the Philosophy forums. Since you might not have heard of us otherwise, I just wanted to offer a little plug for my school, the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto. We aren't the most aggressive philosophy graduate program in terms of Leiter prestige or marketing, but we do have a unusually good faculty for those who are interested in Frankfurt School, ordinary language philosophy, continental philosophy of religion or philosophical theology. Our MA and PhD degrees are funded generously, and placement is reasonably good (info available upon request). Most of our students take courses at the University of Toronto and the Toronto School of Theology, which altogether makes for a nice array of course offerings. Also (in case it needs to be said), although many of us here are confessional, you need not hold Christian convictions to be a student here.
