Hi everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has heard from Stanford EESS yet? In their automated email response after you submitted the app they said that we would hear by the end of the month - but in previous years people heard towards the beginning of January (however those entries are rather sparse). I'm just starting to get nervous and am wondering if anybody has any more info than I do...!

Good luck everyone!

I applied, no news yet... I've been wondering the same thing as you :)

Also, I think this belongs in Earth Science forum since it is Environmental Earth System Science in the School of Earth Science. You have some great opportunities for interview already (Harvard, Arizona, UMinn), so I wouldn't worry too much :P

Are you going tor an MS or a PhD?  Just wondering because I understood Stanford really doesn't like taking MS students

I applied for the PhD program and for an invite just yesterday for an interview!

Rivers, do you have an earth sciences background? Wanted to apply for EESS this year, but a student I knew in the program said not to bother applying without having done earth science coursework.

Does anyone know (a) how many people they invited to interview and (B) how many people they extend offers to?
