harman Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Hlo friends I am studying Masters in electrical engineering and would like to apply for Co-op , but I am not able to find like in which companies shall I apply . When I checked with some of the companies , most these are for Undergraduate students . So shall I apply for those positions ? But I would like to apply for the positions which require Masters as eligibility . Power Engineering or Machine Automation .. . Can you please suggest me some firms ? Thanks
husky Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Try local utilities. They often have internships and co-ops. Also, I'm not sure if you are willing to leave Canada, but U.S. National labs (Sandia,PNNL, Los Alamos, Lawrence Berekely, etc.) have lots of power engineering opportunities for students of all levels. There is also Alstom Grid in Washington State. Good Luck.
