Deadline for accepting an offer?

Hi,

 

Does anybody know if there is a deadline for accepting an offer? I got admitted to NCSU's master program, but I didn't see such information on the admission letter. It's very early to make the decision as most of schools I applied haven't gotten back to me.  I called the grad school, and the lady there said the deadline for accepting the offer was the first day of the class, but she wouldn't give me a written confirmation. I have also heard from various sources that there is a April 15 Resolution, but not sure if it applies to non-funded Master program.

The April 15th resolution generally only applies to funded positions (and not all schools are signees, though most schools adhere to it). As far as I know, schools can set whatever deadlines they wish for all other positions.

I was also accepted to NCSU's masters program, and was also wondering about that, especially since the program starts in May.

What seems fishy to me is that the lady from the Grad College refused to send me written confirmation >_< Anyway, hopefully I will hear back from other places soon.

For whom with the same concern, I got an emailing stating that the deadline to accept the offer was Mar. 17th. ( Emm, I am here answering my own question:-P)
