Arbug Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Hi, I'm an undergrad student from Turkey, I'm double-majoring in Psychology and English Literature. I have a very low GPA: 3.14, but I hope to increase it to 3.30 before the applications. I don't have any research experience, publication or anything... Worst part is I still don't know what I want to study. My last hopes are evo psych and gender studies. In sophomore and junior years I tried to focus on literature, comics especially. I presented a paper about comics in an undergrad conference, but that was bullshit. So is it possible to save this from here? I still have two or three semesters, but I want to apply to MA programs in Canada and that means I only have one semester to go
Amayan Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 You can absolutely do it! I got into an English Literature MA program with a 3.3 GPA, no publications, and bombed two literature classes during the course of my BA.
ExponentialDecay Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Isn't it kind of imperative that you figure out what you're applying for before you can actually, you know, apply?
