Pillowman918 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 (edited) Hey guys, I applied for the PhD program in Chemical and Molecular Engineering at JHU. Yesterday, I was informed that they couldn't offer a PhD position, instead they provided me admission to its MSE program. And the cost of studying in this program is really high, about 70K per acdemic year. Although they told me that the master student are eligible to apply to the PhD program during the final year, I believe it's super competitive. And I'm obtaining my master degree in a science major this summer. I'm not sure about spending money and time on another master degree. So, does anyone have any ideas about this program at JHU? Will it worth the money? How about the chance of getting any assistanceship after the first year? Edited February 15, 2015 by Pillowman918
