NOVA acceptance/interview

Hi everyone,

So I applied to NOVA, I am about to graduate this 2015 Spring semester. I got in contact with them and they told me I need to send transcripts once I have completed my degree. They said they can't give me an interview until I complete my degree. My question is...has anyone gotten an interview/accepted before completing their degree? I am confused about this. Thanks!

I'm having the same issue! They keep on calling me saying I'm missing documents but it's just the pre-req courses I'm finishing up in the Spring which shouldn't count anyways since I already have a Bachelors..

I had the same issues but kept calling and calling until I finally got someone who understood and put through my file. I have my interview tomorrow.

That's great to know!  Last time I called they said my app was under review but then I got another call..how long did it take them to contact you about an interview after you straightened things up? Just want to check if I should keep on calling them

I don't know anything about NOVA, but can I just say that this all sounds ridiculous?

 

The majority of applicants are either finishing up their Bachelor's or their last pre-reqs. I thought all programs go ahead with things and just give a disclaimer that if you don't complete the requirements your acceptance is revoked.

 

How does NOVA manage to fill up their class each year if everyone has to harass them about this?

I guess I'm going to have to keep calling them! The person I spoke with sounded confused he said "You have to complete your bachelors or complete 90 hours" So I was like well I have definitely completed 90 hours. So I guess I will be calling them back. Either way, this is my back up school so first I'm going to hear back from other programs I applied to!
