Maybe this sounds like a strange question, as Berkeley is obviously more prestigious and competitive. I've been admitted to both Master's programs for secondary teacher education, and although Berkeley would appear to be the obvious choice, I'm having some difficulty deciding. For one thing, my brother got accepted to UC Irvine, and that area is surrounded by great school districts in Orange County. The Berkeley program focuses on multicultural urban education, which I am interested in, to a degree, but I just don't know....Ultimately I'm sure both schools would be promising for finding a teaching job.

Does anyone have any insight into either of these specifc programs?
