Gelver Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 RE: 500V 590Q 5.0 Analytical GPA 3.1 Engineering GPA 3.4 -2 semesters left of school (past 3 semesters 3.8, 4.0 4.0 GPA been improving ever since 2nd year) Internship 1 term Co-op 3 terms at Parker Hannifin Active officer in Institute of Industrial Engineers Got three good letters of recommendation Only need to submit statement of purpose to complete application. Should I take the GRE again? OSU wants Verbal 400+ Analytical 4.5+ V+Q 1200 I know i don't meet the last requirement but how competitive is Ohio State?
cath2024 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Yes, retake the GRE and especially concentrate on upping your quant score. You should at least meet their minimum stated requirements, and you have plenty of time to study and retake.
noojens Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 At a school like OSU the median QGRE score (the only one they really care about) of the applicant pool will be 800. Retake the GRE.
