NCTJ Diploma in Journalism - Distance Learning or Accredited Centres

Hi everyone,

My name is Kelly and I am new to this website. If you would not mind helping, I have some questions. I am studying the NCTJ's Diploma in Journalism.

For anybody who has ever studied/is now studying this course via distance learning, like me, my question is: besides just reading the Reporting textbook sent to you and tackling the Reporting PDFs on the DVD, what else do you do firstly to study what you need to know, and then to remember what you have learnt?

For those who have ever studied/are now studying the course at an accredited centre, I ask: what sort of tasks/activities do your tutors set/assign in class, out and about, and at home - so that you study for your coursework plus exams, and then revise what you have done?
