amitojk Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 So i recently got my admits from emory as well as minnesota for HPM Fall 2015. Both are my priority schools. Being an international student my main concern is the post graduation employment rate and the overall experience. Can anyone please help me decide which school is better in terms of overall academic as well as campus life.
letsdothis2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 My roommate from Rollins got her degree in the HPM department and she really loved it. She is currently finishing her PhD in Brown University. I am biased towards Emory - they are SOLID in public health and you have a myriad of resources available that will help you grow professionally (CDC, American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, etc). Also, they have the BEST career services program of any public health school. They will help you find jobs even as an alumn and they have SO many contacts. I think you would thoroughly enjoy Atlanta! Best of luck!
