Do anybody know IMS in claremont graduate university?

o anybody know  Mathematics dept of claremont graduate university(CGU)? I just received  Ph.D offer from CGU (Usnews ranking is 73).

 

However, I found that few faculties are in IMS of CGU. It seemed that it is not a completed matheamtics dept with not so many mathematics activities, seminars or courses. Besides, I heard that few faculties are still doing research right now! 

I am marjoring in Probability Theory and want to do research like Financial Mathematics or statistics in my PhD study.

Is every  doctoral student easy to find a good job related to Financial Mathematics or statistics after graduation from maths dept of CGU?

 

If possible, could you tell me extra information about CGU? is it worth attending it?
