hyen1 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) Hi, I'm admitted from two schools in Mechanical Engineering last week. 1. UC Berkeley M.Eng (Experiential Advanced Control Systems Design) 2. UIUC MS (suggested be to contact faculty members for RA) I'm an international student, and I'm planning to search for jobs or create startups after graduation. (My field is Robotics and Interaction Design) UCB seems a good choice, but I don't know how it provides me job opportunities well, since I'm international, which means less charming for companies. Moreover, with only Masters degree, I am not sure how I can prove myself to others. If I choose to go to UIUC, maybe it's safer and I think I'd pursue Ph.D. However I'm not interested in research that much. Are there many job opportunities for international students with UCB M.Eng Degree? Or should I just go for MS and Ph.D with funding? Edited March 12, 2015 by hyen1
