rubyslp23 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Hey guys! SO I still have not heard a word from this school and it is driving me nuts. If I'm rejected, I just want to know!! My question for you: If you have gotten an email (even if it's wait list), what does it say on your application summary? I noticed that just today the row "Decision" was added to mine and it says to please contact the admissions office. Does it say this for everyone? I'm just trying to get a gauge so I know how to word my email that I plan on writing tomorrow, hah. Thanks!
mr479 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Well, they held interviews last week. Mine was on Tuesday. This week, on Tuesday, I got a rejection letter. It looks like from the results page that most people who had interviews were waitlisted. Which makes you wonder whether they only interviewed the "maybes." But then their website says explicitly that their top ranked applicants will be invited to the interview round. So, it's a mystery. I was pretty surprised that with their apparent three-tiered waitlist, they didn't even have the decency to put me at the bottom after doing the interview. I take that as a flat out "No thank you." Lol.
jpiccolo Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 That's so odd! Mine doesn't say anything and I was waitlisted. I don't understand why you wouldn't have heard. Definitely contact them! Maybe just give them a call tomorrow that way you don't have to be worried all weekend if they don't reply to your email. I hope things work out for you!

Thanks for replying so quick, I'm just so frazzled right now - you're right, they are turning out to be SO weird. I don't understand their method to sending out notices because they seem to be so all over the place, and I too feel like it would just be straight up cruel to tell me I'm rejected over the phone, but who knows. If that is the case, I'm not promising I won't make it awkward haha. I'll definitely give them a call and check back in here, at this point I just want to rip the band aid off regardless. This is the most confusing process ever.
