Have any of the MA applicants heard anything? I saw two MFA acceptances in the past week, but nothing for MA students. This is my top school, so I am starting to get nervous.

I emailed them a few days ago and the response said that decisions will be emailed by March 15th.

Weird, so tomorrow? I almost doubt that decisions will go out over the weekend. But I'll keep my fingers crossed! Thank you, for the response :)

Did you hear anything today?

Nah, still nothing. You?

I've already heard from all of my other schools, so the anticipation is killing me at this point.

Nothing at all. I'm in the same boat, and just want to hear back from these guys so I can compare offers. I emailed Cynthia Ocken today, so I'll let you know what she says!

That sounds good!

Checking my email every 45 seconds is starting to get really old haha.

One of my friends who applied called the department, and they told him that they would let us know on Friday. Apparently they are backed up with the applications :(

Well, that stinks.

Looks like the first CU masters acceptance popped up this morning, so the moment of truth is here. Best of luck to you and your app, hopefully we'll both end up in Boulder!

I just saw that too. Looks like it was a phone call (I'd be worried if it was aN email). Best of luck to you - at least we will know soon!

I'm sorry to say I won't be attending (okay, 95% sure), but I did some of my UG at CU. Their social scene for Lit-related events was incredible, and the faculty all seemed wonderful. Boulder is okay, I guess ;)

I got accepted this morning as well. Unfortunately it will be really difficult, if not impossible, to go there without funding:/

I've heard they don't actually have funding for their MA students (only for their PHd students), but that they do give every MA student a teaching position at some point. I am (sadly) bound to Lit programs in Colorado, so being accepted here is great news!
