yzw200 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Hi, I'm new to the forum and would greatly appreciate any advice... I am considering returning to school to pursue a Masters after working for seven years in the nonprofit field. My interests are somewhat broad...public policy (Mainly domestic) and comparative economic development (primarily Latin America). I was researching options and came across a few interdisciplinary programs, such as NYU's Gallatin. Does anyone know the quality of these programs and how an interdisciplinary degree would appear on a resume. If anyone has any suggestions on a more formally structured degree program that might fit my interests, I would definitely appreciate the advice. My interest is in pursuing a policy or development position with an international NGO. Thanks again for any advice Yisrael
wendylee86 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Hi, you may want to check out the discussion under Government Affairs within Professional Programs. Programs in international affairs may be of interest to you - many have specializations in development economics.
