reema_Verma12 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Hey guys! This is my first post. I just joined and needed some feedback. I got into SIS with the Dean's award but also got into GW. I am really confused where to go. I know it comes down to the program but money matters as well. I am doing an MA in international affairs with a focus on international security in Asia. Thank you
renne107 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm in the exact same boat, but I think I'm leaning a bit more towards GW due to it's particular focus on building professional skills. I get the feeling that SIS is trying to incorporate more applied skills into their program what with their practicum option for capstone course, but I personally feel that it's not quite as fleshed out as GW's. Still on the fence though. Hope that helps.
sadao Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 (edited) Did you not apply to MASIA at Georgetown's SFS? And yes, the vibe in DC values GW over American's SIS Edited March 18, 2015 by sadao
