MPP Ford School UMich vs MSPPM Heinz College CMU?

Hi Everyone,

 

I have to choose between the MPP Program in Ford School (University of Michigan) and MSPPM Program in Heinz College (Carnegie Mellon University).

 

I am interested in MSPPM program because it has a very high concentration in Information Technology. Considering my three year work experience in IBM and my aspiration to switch career to public policy, this seems to be a well-matched program for me.

 

However, it seems that the Ford School has better reputation and network and generally seems much more established.

 

I really appreciate any input on this matter. Which one is better? Ford School or Heinz College?
