GaryLamont Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I was thinking of applying to an online Masters in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Work. This will be within the next two years, and I would prefer an online program so I can still work at my current job and have a flexible learning schedule. What do you guys know about Saint Leo University - http://www.saintleo.com/Graduate/Master-Of-Social-Work.aspx (I am heavily learning towards this one because it is currently one of the cheapest) ?
savannahbee Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 well i don't think an online MSW is a great idea to begin with. in your specific case, i notice that the program is not yet accredited, so that's basically a waste of time.
michigan girl Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 Only apply to CSWE-accredited social work schools. If you do not attend an accredited school, you will not be eligible to become a licensed social worker.
