cr23eh Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 (edited) I recived admission on March 10th. In the letter was no funding information, just mentioned that they were in the early stages of funding decission. I checked the department page and it says that usually funding information is send within a month of admission. So far I got nothing and this is my only admittion. How can you ask about funding, considering that April 10th is too close to April 15th. Edited March 30, 2015 by cr23eh
GeoDUDE! Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I think there are 3 primary modes of long distance communcation: phone, email, and regular mail. I suggest one of the 1st two, as its the fastest and will get you your desired response faster.
cr23eh Posted March 30, 2015 Author Posted March 30, 2015 I was not clear. What is appropiate to ask to the department to avoid one of its personal just sending a link to the web page.
TakeruK Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 I don't think there is anyone wrong with a polite but direct question about funding. If they send you a link to the web page, then it means they have not yet decided.
