how to ask funding information?

I recived admission on March 10th. In the letter was no funding information, just mentioned that they were in the early stages of funding decission. I checked the department page and it says that usually funding information is send within a month of admission. So far I got nothing and this is my only admittion. How can you ask about funding, considering that April 10th is too close to April 15th.

I think there are 3 primary modes of long distance communcation: phone, email, and regular mail. I suggest one of the 1st two, as its the fastest and will get you your desired response faster.

I was not clear. What is appropiate to ask to the department to avoid one of its personal just sending a link to the web page.

I don't think there is anyone wrong with a polite but direct question about funding. If they send you a link to the web page, then it means they have not yet decided.
