Mstur Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Howdy all, Fighting between Security studies at Korbel (15k a year offer) and Georgetown SSP (no monies), any thoughts? I really like both programs. Cost-of-living in Denver is dirt cheap, but there are few(er) options for internships, etc. That said, Gtown has an incredible network and program, but living in DC while accruing that much debt sounds atrocious. Also, just for fun I was offered a place at LSE/PKU for International relations- that's if i just want to pull the plug and head to China for a year. Thanks for the input!
CFBrown Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 It really all depends on how much debt you're willing to take on and how quickly you feel that you'll be able to pay it off with what you learn from your program. You didn't share a bunch of info, but I'd be more inclined to attend Korbel. Fewer opportunities usually translates to there being less competition, so you could be fine in that regard.
