CONGRATS! (although I will, of course, be forever in your debt if you decline. :-) )

 

Just curious, did they give you any timeline on when to accept/decline?

Thank you, although I did chose to accept. Obviously, it is a really great program that is very hard to turn down. However, who knows? May be a slot will open up. Formal acceptance via paperwork is due by Monday. I wonder if it was an interest issue or funding issue this year that made the class size so small.

Congrats! That number of awards is crazy, but I suppose it makes some sense given they delayed the application opening due to worries about the budget.

I am certain it is never a matter of lack of applicant pool interest: the fellowship nearly always has acceptance rates below 3%.

I just got pulled from the waitlist!!!! Apparently there are a few more awards coming out, but of course, I couldn't actually inquire about them. Best of luck if anyone is still waiting.
