Waived Application Fees/ Asking for Reimbursement

So, I just went through a situation and I thought others may find this information useful in the end. 

 

If your application fee is waived, asking for a reimbursement of your application fee will not negatively impact your chance of admission. (At least, that was my case after discussing it with a particular school. They were perfectly understanding of my desire for a reimbursement. )
