Texas State Admitted

I was recently admitted to the Graduate Program for Communication Disorders at Texas State University for fall 2015! I wanted to start this topic to see if anyone else is planning on attending Texas State. Maybe we could start a Facebook page or something? I'm very excited to be living in San Marcos and can't wait to hear from y'all!

Hi! I have also been admitted and have accepted to Texas State! I would love to start getting connected with our cohort! I'm from a different undergrad program so I don't know anyone attending Tx State for grad school. I also don't know how to find the other people attending Texas state

Hi! Did either of you happen to check your application portal before receiving notification of acceptance? Did it say that "a decision has been made"? That is what mine currently says, but I have not received an email with any decision information! Making me a little anxious.. Please let me know what your application portal status was at the time around of your acceptances.. Any insight is appreciated

I was first notified via email. When I checked the portal it said a decision has been made and then under decision it said accepted I believe (it's changed to "admission accepted by student" now. I know of several people who were denied on the 13th so if you weren't that may be good new! Best of luck!

Hello! I have also been accepted to Texas State! @SNW2014 I was also notified via email and called to confirm that I was accepted. @KR_speechpathTX I am in the same boat! The few things that I do know about Tx State and San Marcos are because of old high school friends that are currently attending (they aren't in the Communication Disorders program though). Actually, I asked our advisor to put me in touch with a current graduate student, and she informed me that they wouldn't give us the list of names that are in our cohort until about 2 weeks before school starts. I was going to see if anyone wanted to room together, but I recently found a townhome (close to the clinic) with roommate matching!
