Sports admission scheme

Hi!
I am an exceptional basketball player and have played at the national level in my country. I am pursuing my undergraduate major in one of the best universities here in India.

I wanted to know if there exists any sort of scheme or any method which pushes my application and gives me an edge over other applicants (like, the Ivy League universities, which value sports).

No, I do not think there are any graduate programs that would consider this as a major factor in admissions.

The ivies value sports? Their teams mostly suck.

Yeah, I'm not convinced that ivies value sports. Big state schools do, but not private ivies. Are you talking about graduate programs? I really don't think that playing sports is going to give you an "edge" over applicants with relevant research experience.
