kluna6 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Hello and congratulations to everyone who got accepted somewhere! I got an email from Chapman yesterday saying I was at the top of their waitlist (yay!). Today, they sent me another email informing me of my interview date. My question is now for the people who have interviewed there. What is the interview like? Is it content heavy or is it more about personality? Is it centered on my expectations of the school? I have no idea how to prepare for this interview. Any help would be appreciated!
Missa25 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 They should provide you with interview questions ahead of time to prepare. kluna6 1
kluna6 Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Really? I'm hoping so! I got the email on a Friday so my questions may come Monday, which is a day before my interview.
Missa25 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Well I interviewed early March and they emailed me questions so I could prepare. I'm surprised they're still interviewing! I gave up my spot at chapman yesterday. Good luck!!
kluna6 Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 Thank you, Missa25! I feel like the wave of initial acceptances who declined their spot is now going to us on the waitlist. I'm hoping they email me back soon about instructions/questions so I can prepare for my interview on Tuesday. Was it difficult?
Missa25 Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 The interview isn't difficult. It's one on one. The writing prompt is more difficult. It was related to SLP and you get 15 min. I thought I didn horrible, but I was still offered admission, so don't stress! Haha
