Hi all, I am wondering what my chances of get into a top IR program are and what I need to do to increase my chances of getting into one of these top programs. Since graduating from college 4 years ago, I have taken a graduate course in public admin and received an A. I would really like to attend the WWS, Georgetown, SAIS, and Fletcher.

My stats:

Cumulative GPA: 3.0

Degree GPA: 3.4

Degree: Econ

Work Experience: 3 years in U.S. Department of State handling a regional economic trade portfolio and detail tours in various U.S. Embassies.

Can you share with us what you want to study in grad school and what path you intend to take after getting your degree? Thanks!

And you haven't taken the GRE yet? It seems your basic credentials are quite solid, and your work experience in a nutshell is impressive. Assuming your standardized test scores are competitive, and your letters of recommendation and personal statement are polished, you stand a pretty good chance!

Best of luck!
