russokm1105 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I applied for a variety of PhD and Master's programs in wildlife conservation for Fall of 2015, but was waitlisted or rejected everywhere, mostly due to inability to find an advisor. I have recently reached out to other schools. After talking to a professor there, I was just offered a great Masters' position studying applied ecology and conservation biology at Frostburg State for Fall of 2015, despite not having applied to them initially. The professor I will be working with seems very nice and I am very excited about the project. However, I cannot find anything about Frostburg State on this forum, which may be just because it's a fairly small school. Does anyone know anything about the school and the reputation of its graduate program? I still plan to accept the position when I get the official offer, I was just wondering if any one knew anything about their graduate program and whether I would be able to get into a good PhD program after getting my Master's there.
