Cassie_ Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 I'm not familiar with the topic. I ask this for a friend of mine. There are certain rules to perform a medical practice in US, such as licenses, US citizens or green cards, residency, etc. But what if a foreign student just wants to obtain a MD in US for a starter? Is that possible? Thanks!
Vene Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Looks like you can, but that the odds are against you, even just because of the difficulty of paying for the degree: http://www.usnews.com/education/blogs/medical-school-admissions-doctor/2012/07/16/3-tips-for-international-students-applying-to-us-medical-schools

One doctor went to U Minnesota the other went to U Colorado Edited May 6, 2015 by twentysix
