Hi there everyone,

I have a question about Psychology grad programs for students who have been admitted to any of either:

A) University of New Brunswick's MEd Counselling Psychology

B) University of Ottawa's MEd Educational Psychology

C) OISE's MEd Counselling Psychology

D) Acadia University's MEd Counselling Psychology

E) Laurier's Two-Year MSW

If you have been admitted to any one or more of these programs, please let me know - if you feel comfortable - what your averages were like and what your experiences are. If you could, also, please let me know what you included on your statement of intent and how you organized your resume.

Thanks so much for all of your help,

Morgan

Hey I was accepted into the MEd at uOttawa (which I declined). Have a 93% GPA, but they usually accept people who have about 80s. I have experience working with children in group homes as well as in hospital settings and working in NGOs. In my statement I outlined what I learned in my degree and how thats important for me in the program, how my experienced helped me be ready for the program, why I want to get into the program and my future goals if I complete the program. Resume was pretty basic - education, research experience, work experience, volunteer experience, publications etc. Hope this helps good luck next year!
