I_am_Ahab Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Has anybody here gotten through an intense fear of public speaking? I understand I can't let such a petty phobia take the upper hand and I refuse to let it restrict my professional choices. However, I sill have my defense to do and am terrified. Thoughts?

KathleenLivesay Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 The first time I speak in front of many people is when I was in College. It’s a different feeling, and it depends on the people or person in front of you. You have to be confident, face the audience like you are facing a friend, look them in the eye, remember that you know everything, keep your guts, stand with a smile and most importantly you have to know every angle of the topic you have. Hope that helps. P.s. chewing gum helps before going to a battle ^^
