Hi, my husband just got accepted at IHEID in the PhD program in Development Economics. I have been searching for information on IHEID but most of the information I am getting is about other programs such as International Relations or International Economics. I understand that the department of Development Economics is considerably therefore the lack of information. Though through research I've come to know that it is considerably a better institute for those aiming at a career in International organizations. But I was wondering if anyone has an opinion of whether it is a good idea to get a PhD in Development Economics from IHEID as far as a career in academia and research is concerned.
