MEd & MA Counselling Psychology

[MEd - Counselling Psych]

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone who's been accepted to the following schools can give me advice on their GPA, experiences, statement of intent, references, etc. Any advice helps!

1. University of Ottawa - MEd in Educational Counselling

2. University of Western Ontario - MA in Counselling Psychology

3. OISE - MEd in Counselling Psychology

I have about a 76-78% cumulative average, with an 80 percent in my last completed year. OISE will only be able to look at my last completed year, while Western and Ottawa will be able to see my upcoming first semester grades (I'll be taking a class on Therapeutic Couselling so hopefully that boosts my odds). I also don't have any paid work experience but a lot of volunteer experience in the field!

If anyone has any advice or things they can share about what their applications to these schools looked like, please let me know! Thanks
