Advice needed from current/ graduated MPH (Health Promotion) students

HI Everyone, 

 

I'm new to this forum and would love to hear from current/graduated MPH students in the Health Promotion Stream for example how you find/found the program, job prospects after graduation and the day to day work environment and duties. I graduated from Kinesiology from Waterloo and currently work as a Health and Safety coordinator heavily focused injury prevention and enforcement on job sites. This job has been a great learning opportunity but I know that my interest lies beyond that and I would love to be able to contribute to the prevention of injury and disease on a broader level. 

 

Any tips, comments and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I'm very risk averse so before making this leap I wanted to get as much information as I can.
