Undergraduate : Shandong University (China)Major: Applied Physics General GPA : 3.5/4 (91/100) Major GPA: 3.73/4 (93.4/100) Ranking: 1/66Research: undergraduate thesis on optical properties of one dimensional periodic crystal.(no publication) Master: University of British Columbia GPA: 82% (two course: A+; one course: B+; one course: B-) ----> quite low compared to my undergraduate scores........Work: Teaching assistant Research(Condensed Matter Physics): have good research experience on Iron-selenide superconductorsPublication: one first author PRL (It's expected to be submitted this October at least. It may be accepted around December or January).Recommendation letter from my supervisor (My supervisor is really nice. I may purse a PhD with him. But I'm not sure! ) GRE : 152/167/3 (Q/V/A)TOEFL: CAN be waived for most of universitiesGRE SUB: 880 (83%)Status : International I think the research experience and publications would be very important. But I'm worried that my graduate GPA and GRE/SUB will not be competitive!!! Anyone have idea what kind of university should I expect?
