When are the 4 free GRE scores sent?

Hi everyone,

I'm taking my GRE on December 8 and I wanted to apply to a program that has a deadline of December 15. If I include that institution as one of my 4 free scores that I can enter the day of the test, will the scores be sent the same day as well?

No, It will be sent after the grading of the essay portion, It should go out the same day your official scores are available for you to see on the ETS website.

You should probably reschedule the test for a month earlier, or else your scores are not going to make it on time and your application will be incomplete.

However, if you cannot take your GRE any earlier than December 8, you should contact the schools with Dec 15 deadlines and ask if it is okay that your GRE scores will come later. Tell them that for Dec 15 deadline, you can provide preliminary GRE Q and GRE V scores. Most schools will not review files until January so this is probably okay, but just check!
