missemilycelli Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Hello fellow worriers, I am applying as a second round applicant in CSCD programs. I have decided on a path in Audiology, but I would like some peer support and comments. I have a GRE of 149/149/4.5, 3.7 undergrad GPA in Early Childhood Education, 3.7 GPA in FSU's online bride program for CSCD, worked as an SLPA in a private sector, shadowed an Audiologist, and I am currently working as an Elementary Language Arts teacher. I am still shadowing SLPs and Audiologists for more hours, and I am retaking the GRE. I also completed a capstone project for my Undergraduate degree on the hearing impaired cultures and development through the years accompanied by society's acceptance. What do I need to do to be ridiculously competitive and attractive for Audiology? Thank you, and I hope you're finding peace on your search as well.
