Flux2
Hi, I'm applying for the NSF graduate fellowship and I have some questions regarding the research proposal.I want to write something on genetically encoded biosensors but I feel kind of uncomfortable writing about this because up to date lot of biosensors are already established and I feel like my research proposal will just be a little twist. If I have a concrete idea and plan to write about, shall I just pursue this topic?Thank you! mop
There isn't a biosensor monopoly that you think there is (my lab just got a grant to make a bunch of new ones). Also remember that you are not forced to do the research in your plan, your graduate work can be on something completely different.
