DandelionR Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 (edited) Hi all! I am now in my final year as a sociology major applying for Boston Colleges MSW, Boston University's MSW and the program at UMass for mental health counselling. My applications are all done with the exception of my transcripts and 1 letter of recommendation. Im just wondering how highly each of these respective schools value significant life experience? My GPA is the minimum requirement, I've been involved over the past couple years in a couple clubs. This year I hold a position with one of them. Im just wondering in general how "easy" or difficult it is to get into either of the programs. In general, what does each school really look for within each application? Also, if I am applying before the early deadline, do all admissions decisions get released after the deadline regardless of the time they were submitted? Or can they be released before? Thanks!
