aneworld Posted October 19, 2015 Posted October 19, 2015 Hello! I am an international student. I have a tuition from my state to PhD in Canada. One week ago I started to write some professor. But nobody turn any answer to me. I prepared my mail with my advisor who is experienced about application process of US universities. He took acceptance from Chicago six year ago. Therefore, I believe it's not a bad mail. I am waiting but I am not sure about that, it is normal? Nobody answer my mail Especially, I send to UWO (anthropology and political sicience). Thanks for your attention!
random_grad Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 Profs don't always answer emails from students, esp. prospective students, esp. if the prof is on sabbatical. The message might have gone to spam because of university's filter. There can be many reasons. It is not an indicator of much, although it might also be an indicator that this prof in particular would make for a rather absent advisor.
